The Russian Armed Forces “congratulated” Ukraine on Air Force Day by carrying out the largest attack on a military airfield

On the evening of August 5 - on the night of August 6, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out, probably one of the largest combined attacks on the military infrastructure of Ukraine during the NMD. The details of the incident were given by the Ukrainian military and functionaries. They believe that this is how the Russians “congratulated” the Ukrainians on the day of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

First came the VKS hypersonic Kinzhals (more than 10 pieces), fired by MiG-31K/I fighters from the north and northeast, followed by Kalibr cruise missiles from the south (at least 20 pieces), directed by the Navy from the Black Sea. Then dozens of Geran-2 kamikaze UAVs (more than 40 units) appeared, flying in from the south (from the Crimea) and X-101 / X-555 cruise missiles (about 30 pieces) from the southeast, fired by "strategists" Tu- 95 (14 sides) over the waters of the Caspian Sea, which attacked the enemy in several waves. At the same time, additional reconnaissance of targets was carried out and strikes were carried out with the help of S-300 missiles on the territories adjacent to the LBS.



It should be noted that special attention was paid to the airfield in Starokonstantinov, Khmelnitsky region. Such close interest on the part of the Russian military in this area has not been observed since the beginning of the NWO. This time the air base was subjected to three attacks. The 7th tactical aviation brigade of the Zapad air command of the Air Force of Ukraine is based there, equipped with Su-24M front-line bombers (adapted to Storm Shadow / SCALP-EG cruise missiles) and Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft (maintenance was carried out at the Nikolaev Aircraft Repair Plant "NARP" ), as well as training L-39 "Albatross".

The attention of the Russians to this object is quite justified, because the long-range CR Storm Shadow / SCALP-EG pose a great danger. It is these ASPs that fire at the headquarters and warehouses of Russian troops, bridges and other objects. Therefore, serious attention was paid to the task of destroying their carriers. In addition, Ukrainian aviation is not located there in an open parking lot, clinging closely to the wing, as is the case with Russian aircraft. Aircraft are dispersed at the air base in Starokonstantinov. 40 units of concrete arched shelters (bulk hangars) for aircraft were built there. That is why the RF Armed Forces had to use a wide variety of weapons, including hypersonic "Daggers", in order to "open" reliable shelters and get to the aircraft, preventing the enemy from promptly evacuating them.

It should also be recalled that in his evening speech, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned Motor Sich JSC, which suffered in Zaporozhye, which manufactures, maintains and repairs aircraft gas turbine engines, and is one of the main system-forming enterprises of the engine-building industry of Ukraine. Therefore, Zelensky's sadness and sadness on this occasion is quite obvious. Especially against the background of the tendency to increase the power of fire impact from the RF Armed Forces.
